Patient is willing to accept home oxygen if prescribed

Needs < 6LPM

New Hypoxia without an identified cause

Unstable (changing) O2 Needs

Patient unwilling to accept oxygen at home

Altered mental status

Otherwise Abnormal Vital Signs

Home O2 eval complete

Oxygen supplies to be delivered in timely manner

O2 needs noted to be stable on continuous pulse ox. 

Able to complete ADLs with Family and Home health Support

Unstable escalating oxygen needs

Needs > 6 LPM

RT/CM unable to arrange oxygen due to complex social needs
